Watering

*Apply 1" (2.5cm) of water once per week, preferably in the early morning.
) q/ H/ F1 w3 g) q*Avoid afternoon watering to prevent loss of water through evaporation, and avoid watering in the evening to reduce fungal disease incidence.
*Sandy soils may require more frequent watering. Apply about 3/4"(2cm) of water once every 4-5 days.
*Increase watering frequency during hot, dry weather conditions.
*Don't over-water. Allow the top 1"(2.5cm) of the soil surface to dry out between waterings.
